    Our Teachers

Our teachers at Musicologie Atlanta all have different specialties, histories, and educations. Some have masters or doctorate degrees. Some have toured professionally. Some focus on early childhood education. They love figuring out what inspires each individual student and we pride ourselves on finding the perfect teacher-student match.

You'll see certification badges next to many of our teachers. That means they have passed one of five levels of the Musicologie Teacher Certification Program, which quantifies their experience, leadership, and ongoing professional development.

Hi, I’m a piano teacher with over 30 years of playing experience and 20 years of teaching students of all ages. I grew up in Ukraine, where I began studying piano at age 7, continued my studies at a music high school focused on music theory and piano, and then earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. I teach both children and adults, and I especially enjoy helping beginners discover how fun and rewarding learning to play the piano can be. My lessons are structured but relaxed, creating a supportive environment where students can grow at their own pace. While I have a classical foundation, I also love teaching contemporary and pop music, helping students learn the songs they love while building strong musical skills.

David has been teaching and performing in the greater Atlanta area for almost a decade. Teaching privately, at Red Clay music Foundry, and other venues, he's been able to pass on his passion and love for music to many students, both young and old. Playing drums for HeyDreamer, local Atlanta singer-songwriters and various Beatle tribute acts gives him a unique perspective on how to equip students for real-world application and education on the drum set.
