With two music degrees (Bachelor’s in Music Education, Master’s in Percussion Performance) and years of teaching and gigging experience, he brings both expertise and real-world perspective to his lessons. Nathan believes music should be fun first. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to level up your skills, he creates an encouraging space where students feel free to explore and grow as musicians.

Hello, my name is Jackie Carmona. I am a passionate, fun, and patient music teacher based in Prosper. Soon, I have a bachelor's degree in Music Education from Texas Woman's University. I have been teaching private lessons for two years, and I specialize in teaching piano and voice to both kids and adults. I believe in creating a fun and engaging learning environment where all students can explore and enjoy the world of music. As an educator, I am dedicated to understanding my students and helping them thrive, making every lesson a delightful journey. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I am ready to guide you on your musical adventure.

Dr. Zinecker has over 34 years of experience teaching music, with students achieving awards such as college scholarships and Honor Choir designations. She holds degrees in vocal performance and pedagogy from Drury University and Northwestern University. Dr. Zinecker has taught choir in the Conroe Texas and Republic Missouri School Districts and served as an Adjunct Professor at Drury University. She has also directed choirs for Christ Episcopal Church and the Community Children’s Choirs of Southwest Missouri. Valuing personal relationships with students and her family, Dr. Zinecker is enthusiastic about joining Musicologie to continue nurturing future musicians.

Hello everyone! My name is Israel (like the country) Lagos (like the city) and I have been a music teacher for almost 15 years and a musician for 20. I love music and showing everyone just how interesting and beautiful it is!

I’m a music fanatic who will listen to just about anything. I love cooking, coffee, conversation, following sports, and exploring new things. As a musician, I’ve had wonderful opportunities and experiences that allow me to have many stories which I enjoy sharing. I look forward to sharing my love of music with you.

Naomi is an accomplished collegiate, classical pianist with over 30 years of teaching piano to students of all ages in private, group and studio settings. She is also a trained vocal instructor and has taught music theory and conducted a 93 member school choir and co-directed the school's musical. Naomi specializes in customizing lessons to meet the needs and goals of each individual student.

Hello everyone! My name is Nick and I have been playing the guitar since I was 6 years old! I have 2 years of band experience where my band would play local gigs and shows. I have 2 years of experience in teaching guitar lessons and have taught ages from 6-17. I also have years of experience in working with kids through my church. Haley has been playing the harp for over 25 years with 10 years of teaching experience. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music Performance from the University of North Texas and The University of Texas at Austin. Haley has performed in cities including Memphis, Chicago, New Orleans and Hong Kong. She has also presented at the collegiate level at the University of Oklahoma and in Limerick, Ireland, as part of the World Harp Congress Conference. Starting piano at a young age, music has been part of Spencer's life for a long time. He has been playing piano for 26+ years and has 6+ years of teaching experience. With experience in all forms of music, ranging from classical to modern pop, he tailors lesson plans specifically for each student and is passionate about providing the best possible lesson experience. In his free time, he enjoys producing modern music and spending time with family, friends, and his little puppy.

For over six years, I have successfully taught and supported diverse populations through singing, including individuals with all abilities. My personal, lifelong connection to music, particularly the expressive power of the singing voice, deeply informs my commitment to harnessing music as a profound tool for healing, emotional expression, and fostering self-discovery in students.

Johnna began studying piano at age six and quickly developed a passion for both solo and collaborative performance. She has earned Superior ratings at the FMTA Piano Competition and has extensive experience accompanying students and ensembles for UIL competitions. A violist since age eleven, Johnna has studied with distinguished teachers including Liesl-Ann Devillers, Daphne Gerling, and Barbara Sudweeks. She was honored as a recipient of the Arion Award in recognition of her achievements as a young musician. Johnna currently serves as Principal Violist of the Mansfield Philharmonic Orchestra and Principal Second Violin of the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, and maintains an active performance career throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
