    Our Teachers

Our teachers at Musicologie Lindon all have different specialties, histories, and educations. Some have masters or doctorate degrees. Some have toured professionally. Some focus on early childhood education. They love figuring out what inspires each individual student and we pride ourselves on finding the perfect teacher-student match.

You'll see certification badges next to many of our teachers. That means they have passed one of five levels of the Musicologie Teacher Certification Program, which quantifies their experience, leadership, and ongoing professional development.

Music is a foundational part of Haylee's life. She grew up with parents who were wedding singers, and all her siblings and she sang and played piano. Haylee has been playing piano since she was four and started teaching when she was fourteen. She studied Piano Performance at Weber State University and Commercial Music at UVU. Haylee is passionate about musicians finding what lights them up—not just learning scales and going through the motions. When she’s not playing music or singing, she can be found spending time with her kids, friends, and family; attending or leading group meditations and sound healings; hiking; doing yoga; reading; cooking; and exercising. She loves any kind of adventure with good food and good company.

After starting with private lessons and school bands, I ventured into contemporary styles and began teaching drum set and percussion over four years ago. My career includes performing across Utah, touring the western U.S., and working as a session musician from my home studio. Outside music, I'm studying Biotechnology, enjoy snowboarding and reading, and am learning guitar, bass, and piano. I'm excited to teach and share my love for music with you or your child!
