Drums, piano, and Jr music class. Sam, Haylee, and Kiersten are all amazing. They make it fun and have lots of patience. Also Julie is so fun and always welcomes the kids which helps set a happy mood right as we walk in the door. We all look forward to the classes each week and we see progress for each of the children which is very exciting. ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocJN4DzFK3rGg0-KGq10m3nt8rK-WrUd_OLzPT1Lpsd_ClRLxA=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba4) [Dave Molling](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/104883669107324778167/reviews) 2 months ago (Lindon, UT) Katherine has been awesome. Our little girl has been loving her vocal lessons and looks forward to them every Monday. It's awesome to see how excited she is for this new experience. The studio is very clean and up to date. They also teach a lot of different types of instruments which is pretty cool & may have to look into that for myself at some point. ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocIscmPpzuFLOQRbwYNYDlHUIv8HGNj13T6t3Ry3Qr0MGeXr3A=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo) [Kara Williams](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/117178331600245042176/reviews) 2 months ago (Lindon, UT) We are loving our experience at Musicologie! Both of my girls are taking lessons, one flute and one voice. Both teachers, Ryan and Madison, have been excellent at helping each of them feel comfortable and excited about what they are learning. In addition, as a parent, I love the structure of the program and the ease of communication with teachers. I know each week what they’ve worked on in their lesson and the expectations of what they are to practice. And Julie, the office manager, is excellent. She is personable, knowledgeable, and will bend over backwards to help. We’re also excited to access the additional community events they are offering, and all for free. Can’t recommend enough!!! ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjWxvERkHSLcPXauSRnq1pdLcQtwSill8Jde6RjsuKjlFLZckwadTg=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba3) [Shawn Gibbs](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/107951159749586812221/reviews) 2 months ago (Lindon, UT) My wife is a voice teacher and chose musicologie to send our daughter to to receive voice lessons, what does that tell you?! They’re an incredible company with wonderful people running it. My daughter has loved her voice lessons and my second child is thriving learning the flute. They make it so fun with the treasure bucket and reward systems for practicing that my kids actually enjoy doing it. I would highly recommend them. ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjVFWAZXNVrwHJXJ65p3PAks4CYC067RMhgR7qHzYbIKJiCjZd8CTQ=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba3) [Jeremy Clark](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/108509962577784483571/reviews) a week ago (Odessa, TX) Welcoming, knowledgeable, kids love it ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocKwoMR0bBnfV5O6Ej61aIorynji82rEksFu5B51fNH9uVfB9w=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba5) [angellyca liz](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/108293243538011437353/reviews) a month ago (Odessa, TX) ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjUlvSQVOoWjYwEayeg0m-kWdmqFxeqlm020Qo114Oa-ZpnNc-E=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo) [Marsha Bridges](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/108172321180597666628/reviews) a month ago (Odessa, TX) He had a great first experience. My daughter has been taking bass guitar lessons here for about a year, and she also joined the rock band program about five months ago. She has already had three really fun performances, and it has been so sweet to watch her confidence grow. Today she did an evaluation for voice lessons with Lexi and absolutely loved it. She told me she loves the way it feels to sing, which honestly made my heart so happy. I love that Musicologie has helped her find something she truly enjoys and can lose herself in. The teachers and programs have been encouraging, fun, and such a positive outlet for her. We are so thankful for the experience and would definitely recommend Musicologie to other families! ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjXtCvjRasiO46eUikrLjPmFM6fVydfgwd6wWvBCNi5Q75XPhMp2=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo) [Lisa McDonnell](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/103312646614201497444/reviews) 5 months ago (Prosper, TX) We had such an incredible experience at my daughter‘s first piano lesson. We were warmly greeted by the owner upon arrival and walked through how everything works. Her teacher, Miss Naomi, was so patient and very informative. I was nervous about taking a five year-old (typical age related attention span & listening skills concerns), but they were so patient and well-versed in how to meet her where she was at. They took a very personalized approach to observing her and what would work to pique her interest. We are excited to get signed up for lessons! ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjUy7BUKYkFtYrT4EYaUKcjCBSszjV9XdiFZyLpiMBRcqFjH6Mcg=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo) [dimple haygunde](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/102073349550836712314/reviews) 5 months ago (Prosper, TX) Musicologie Prosper is really a great music school for any kid who would like to start their music journey. Mr. Javier is my son's violin teacher. He is very patient and encouraging. My son loves to attend class. School recently arranged spring concert, I must say it was very systematic and kids performed very well. Thank you and keep growing. ![Profile Picture](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjWpKEHzGp8iUaujQhVycgo8RmY6kw5xHD5cVHjZ4RTCRAAYZ1g=s40-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo) [Megan Sparks](https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/107829698291287715705/reviews) 9 months ago (Prosper, TX) We take the our 2 year old to the Musicologie Jr. class with Ms. Naomi and it’s our favorite part of the week. It is well structured and so fun. Ms. Naomi does a wonderful job of engaging everyone and making sure the children are having fun while building foundational music skill at age appropriate levels. Our 2 year old gets excited the second we pull in the parking lot and leaves singing the songs from class. We also love the flexibility of rescheduling as she is medically complex so we often miss classes but still feel we get our money’s worth with that flexibility and our daughter doesn’t miss out on an activity she loves. That flexibility is somewhat rare in children’s activities. All of that combined make us very happy customers and we look forward to staying that way! ## Good to know A few things before your first lesson in Loveland ### **How do I start?** [Get started here.](https://app.musicologie.com/get-started?location=loveland) A Community Manager will reach out to you and match you with a certified expert teacher based on your goals. You’ll do an initial 30 minute assessment lesson with your teacher to talk about what you want to achieve and make sure it’s a good fit. Then, you’ll sign up for weekly lessons and start practicing! ### **Do I need an instrument?** At your first lessons you can use one of our instruments at the studio. Ask your Community Manager for details. For ongoing practice at home, you will need an instrument. If you don’t have one, we'll help get you what you need! ### **How long does it take to learn?** Not as long as you might think! Our programs will get you singing or playing right away. Our students make music a part of their lifestyle. They stay consistent and don’t sweat it if they miss a lesson or are too busy to practice one week. They get back on and keep going. Learning an instrument is a journey. You’ll learn a lot about yourself, and your goals will change as you progress. The important part is to take the first step, and see what’s possible. ### **How are Musicologie teachers certified?** Our certification program is a 5 level program that measures a teacher's education, teaching hours, student retention, commitment to personal development, and community leadership. Teachers are encouraged to mentor each other, learn new skills and curriculum, and attend classes on everything from pedagogy to diversity and inclusion. It's the only program of its kind and truly sets Musicologie teachers apart. ### **Can I try just one lesson?** Yes! The first lesson is called an assessment lesson. There’s no obligation to sign up for weekly lessons. The assessment lesson is designed for your teacher to get to know you and your goals and recommend curriculum to achieve those goals. It’s also a chance to make sure it’s a good fit. If for any reason you’re not satisfied, we’ll match you with additional teachers for free or refund the assessment fee. ### **What will I learn?** Your lessons will be guided by your goals. You'll learn exactly what you need and nothing you don't. For example, if your goal is to sing Tom Petty songs around a campfire, your teacher will skip note reading and theory and go straight for the three chords you need to play any Petty tune. If you want your child to learn how to be a well rounded musical human with all the accompanying developmental benefits, your teacher will use a curriculum like Faber or Alfred's and take them through theory, technique and note reading, as well as playing fun songs they'll enjoy. If you're not sure what your goals are yet, or even what instrument to choose - no problem! We'll match you with a teacher of multiple instruments who can take you through different concepts and possibilities, always focusing on music you like. ### **How much does Musicologie cost?** Lessons and programs range in cost and vary by location. [Contact us to learn more!](https://app.musicologie.com/get-started?location=loveland) ### **What's the Perfect Match Promise?** Our Perfect Match Promise is our guarantee to you that you'll love your Musicologie teacher, or we'll match you with a new one for free, or refund your first month of lessons. It means there's no risk to sign up for your first lesson. ![Accelerated Piano Lab student playing piano while their teacher smiles]() ## Why Choose Lessons at Musicologie? - Certified Music Teachers - Perfect Match Promise™ - All ages, abilities, and instruments - Private lessons and group classes - Concerts and events - Easy and flexible rescheduling ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@id":"https://musicologie.com/#website","@type":"WebSite","description":"Simply Delightful music lessons & classes for all ages.
